The Chemistry system is exclusive to Ultimate Team in FC 26, boosting player stats based on how your squad lines up. Players need at least 1 Chemistry point to get a boost, and higher Chemistry means bigger stat upgrades. Each player can get up to 3 Chemistry points, making a max of 33 points for the whole 11-player squad.
How to get more Chemistry points?
Chemistry points are calculated based on the Nation, League, and Club of your 11 players. The easiest way to get max Chemistry is to group up 2 players from the same Club, 2 from the same Nation, and 3 from the same League. Doing this instantly gives you 3 Chemistry points.

Here's the breakdown:
| Chemistry | +1 Point | +2 Points | +3 Points |
| Club | 2 Players | 4 Players | 7 Players |
| League | 3 Players | 5 Players | 8 Players |
| Nation | 2 Players | 5 Players | 8 Players |
Also, some special player cards make hitting Chemistry goals way easier. They can add extra counts to League and Nation for other squad members, or just straight up start with a max of 3 Chemistry points themselves, which is super helpful if you like building hybrid squads.
Here's the breakdown:
| Role | Individual Chemistry | Team Chemistry |
| Icons | 3 Points | +1 to Nation, +1 to ALL Leagues |
| Heroes | 3 Points | +1 to League |
| World Tour | N/A | +1 to Nation |
| Squad Foundations | N/A | +1 to League |
| Cornerstones | N/A | +1 to Club |
| Festival of Football: Captains | N/A | +2 to Nation |
| End of an Era | N/A | +1 to Nation, +1 to ALL Leagues |
| Positional Excellence | 3 Points | N/A |
Heads up: Everyone has to be in their correct position for Chemistry to work. For example, a striker has to play at striker. If you force them into center-back or defender slots, their individual Chemistry points will instantly drop to zero, and they won't contribute to anyone else's Chemistry count either.
What kind of boosts do Chemistry points give?
Chemistry points directly affect the number of Attribute Points you get. Having 1, 2, or 3 Chemistry points will add 3, 6, or 9 Attribute Points respectively.
These Attribute Points are distributed based on the player's Chemistry Style across 6 different stat categories, as shown below:
Outfield players: PAC, SHO, PAS, DRI, DEF, PHY
Goalkeepers: DIV, HAN, KIC, REF, SPD, POS
What do Chemistry Styles do?
The Attribute Points you get from player Chemistry are handed out based on the Chemistry Style you use. Fresh players pulled from packs default to the Basic style (or GK Basic for keepers), which spreads the stat points evenly. Using other Chemistry Style cards overrides the default one, letting you dump all those stat boosts exactly where you need them.
For example, slapping a Hunter card on a striker will massively boost their PAC and SHO, making them way more lethal in attack. Or put a Shadow card on a defender to jack up their PAC and DEF, fixing any lack of pace.
There's no single best Chemistry Style for a player. It all depends on your squad layout and playstyle, so building a custom setup that works for you is the way to go.
What are all the Chemistry Styles?
Here is how Attribute Points are distributed for each Chemistry Style card (the first table is for outfield players, the second is for goalkeepers):
