The World Cup Quarter-Finals kick off within days. Eight nations are still alive: France, Spain, Argentina, England, Belgium, Norway, Morocco, and Switzerland. Every other nation is eliminated, and their Path to Glory cards are frozen. If you're going to buy PTG cards this cycle, the window is right now, before the QF matches start. Once the first whistle blows, prices spike on upgrade Wednesdays and you're paying a premium.

Cards still upgrading — buy these now

Each QF win adds another OVR upgrade. Buy before the match, not after.

  • Rodri PTG (Spain, ~320K) — Best ROI in the market. Spain kept clean sheets against Austria (3-0) and Portugal (1-0). Their QF opponent is beatable. Rodri has Anticipate+ and Pinged Pass+, and he's still climbing. If Spain reaches the Final, this card hits 580K.
  • Mbappé PTG (France, ~850K) — Expensive but the safest bet in the game. France hasn't conceded in knockouts. Mbappé's 97 PAC plus Finesse Shot+ means he's already meta, and every France win pushes him toward 99 OVR. Path to 1.4M if France reaches the Final.
  • Haaland PTG (Norway, ~440K) — The gamble play. Haaland scored twice in the 79th and 90th minutes to eliminate Brazil. If Norway wins their QF, this card jumps to 800K+. If they lose, it drops to 300K. Know your risk tolerance.
  • Switzerland PTG (Akanji/Xhaka, ~60K) — The cheapest QF nation by far. Switzerland just knocked out Colombia on penalties (July 7). Their QF opponent is Argentina. Nobody expected Switzerland to get this far, which is exactly why the cards are cheap. A QF win would 5x the price overnight.
  • Morocco PTG (~85K) — Morocco eliminated the Netherlands on penalties and crushed Canada 3-0. They've proven they can hang with top nations. At 85K, the downside is minimal and the upside is massive.

Cards maxed or eliminated — dump these today

These nations are out. Their PTG cards will never upgrade again. Every day you hold, the price drops further.

Verdict

Buy Rodri PTG right now. At 320K with Spain's defensive record, it's the best value-per-coin card in the entire PTG market. If you want safety, add Mbappé PTG. If you want a lottery ticket, grab Switzerland PTG at 60K before their QF match against Argentina. And sell every eliminated-nation card today. Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, USA, Mexico, Colombia, all frozen, all bleeding value. The Final is July 19. After that, the PTG market dies.
