FC 27 Phantom Playgrounds: 15-Match Ultimate Scream Route

Ultimate Team
Stack all seven Phantom Playgrounds objectives into one 15-match Squad Battles run — provided you win every game through match 13.

Phantom Playgrounds looks like seven separate objectives. It is actually one route. Two things decide whether this takes 15 matches or 22: when each nationality leaves your XI, and knowing that some requirements count matches, not goals. This route closes all seven for 450 Ultimate Scream Tokens in 15 Semi-Pro Squad Battles games — only if you win every match through match 13. Drop a single result in that window, and plan for 16 matches, not 15.

The Ground Rules

Semi-Pro or higher. One player with 4★ weak foot or better in the XI from match 1 through match 10. One Ultimate Scream card from match 11 onward. Set Squad Battles halves to 4 minutes — shorter halves mean faster restarts and fewer AI interruptions on chip and header setups.

The moment an objective node closes, that nation comes out of the starting lineup. Leaving a completed nationality in “just in case” is the most common reason this route stretches past 15 games. Check the Objectives menu after every match — more on this at the end, but do it from Match 1.

If you don’t have a 4★ weak-foot attacker or a budget Ultimate Scream card in the club, you can grab FC 27 Coins from our store and build the rotation tonight — delivery is instant, so the run can start the moment you’re ready.

Matches 1–2: Full Nation Stack

Starters: Turkey, Iceland, USA, Hungary, Scotland + 4★ weak-foot player.

Per match: one outside-the-box goal with the 4★ player, one through-ball assist, 5 headers, one chip shot.

The USA requirement is 10 headers total, not 10 matches of headers. Two games at five apiece closes it. Don’t take the American out after Match 1 just because the tracker reads 5/10 — match 2 is the last time that slot is needed.

Matches 3–5: Drop USA, Finish Hungary

Starters: Turkey, Iceland, Hungary, Scotland + 4★ weak-foot player.

Per match: outside-the-box goal, through-ball assist, one chip shot.

Hungary needs a chip goal in 5 separate matches. Matches 1–2 already count toward that total, so three more chips here close it. If the tracker shows “5/5” after a multi-chip game, you have misread the objective — it counts match appearances, not chip volume. Once the node is fully closed after match 5, drop Hungary.

Matches 6–7: Drop Hungary, Finish Turkey

Starters: Turkey, Iceland, Scotland + 4★ weak-foot player.

Per match: outside-the-box goal, through-ball assist.

No more chips needed. Turkey’s seven-match requirement closes at the end of match 7, so Turkey leaves the XI after this block.

Matches 8–10: Iceland and Scotland — No More Losses From Here

Starters: Iceland, Scotland + 4★ weak-foot player.

Per match: outside-the-box goal, through-ball assist.

Match 10 closes the 10-match weak-foot requirement, so the 4★ player can leave after this block. But the bigger issue is Iceland. Iceland’s 13-win requirement has zero cushion. One draw or loss anywhere from match 1 through match 13 pushes the entire rotation back by a match. If you are 10 matches in and not sitting on 10 wins, stop and fix it now — do not keep advancing the nation rotation and hope the math works out.

Matches 11–13: Add the Scream Card

Starters: Iceland, Scotland + 1 Ultimate Scream player.

Per match: through-ball assist, score as many goals as possible.

The Scream card’s 50-goal node starts counting the moment they enter the starting XI. Five matches at 10 goals apiece is the target. Semi-Pro is forgiving enough for that pace if you stay direct. If you’re not confident you can average 10 goals a game, insert the Scream card at match 8 instead of match 11 — you sacrifice a little early chemistry but gain a much safer goal buffer.

Matches 14–15: Drop Iceland, Finish Scotland

Starters: Scotland + Ultimate Scream player.

Per match: through-ball assist, keep scoring.

Scotland requires a through-ball assist in 15 separate matches. Match 15 is the final tick only if you recorded one in every prior game. If you missed even one, Scotland stays in for a 16th match.

If you dropped a game earlier: add one extra match with both Iceland and Scotland in the XI. That single fixture repairs the Iceland win count and still counts toward Scotland’s 15-match through-ball requirement. You are looking at 16 matches total, not a full restart.

Two Habits That Save the Run

Check the Objectives menu after every match. If a chip, header, or through-ball did not register, replay the same starter combination immediately — do not advance the rotation on a guess. And wait a few seconds after the final whistle before backing out to menus. Objective progress occasionally lags by a beat, and an early exit is the easiest way to turn a clean run into a repair job.

The 450 Tokens land when every node closes. The Terrifying Token Store stays open through November 13, 2026, one week after Ultimate Scream ends. Spend your tokens before then — once the store closes, leftover tokens are gone.
