FC 27 Clubs Player Builds Guide: Best Attributes for Every Position

Gameplay Guides
FC 27 Clubs attribute allocation is more forgiving than it was in FC 26, but you still need to plan your build. Get your points right and your player's in-game strength and feel improve a ton. Your position and tactical playstyle both affect your build.

The biggest change in FC 27 Clubs compared to FC 26 is that it's no longer just about OVR—it's about core stat allocation. Archetype now directly determines your player's base stats and Key Attributes. As you level up, later upgrades cost more and more Attribute Points, so the key is to use your limited points to first boost the core stats your position needs.

How do you build an ST?

If you're playing striker, the most important core stats are:

  • Finishing
  • Acceleration
  • Reactions
  • Composure
  • Positioning

These stats directly affect how your player feels and how strong he is in matches. If you're also a finisher, lean more into Finishing, Positioning, etc. If you're a Target, lean more into Strength, Heading, etc.

How do you build LW / RW wingers?

Wingers need a pretty different stat spread from strikers. Besides pace, ball control and dribbling are also super important. Here are the top-priority stats:

  • Acceleration
  • Sprint Speed
  • Agility
  • Dribbling
  • Ball Control

If you like bombing down the wing, make sure to put points into Crossing, Sprint Speed, etc. If you like cutting inside, go for Agility, Dribbling, etc.

How do you build a CAM?

The CAM position is super important, and its stat priority is also the easiest to mess up. A lot of people just dump everything into pace and dribbling, but passing quality is also really important. Recommended priority:

  • Vision
  • Short Passing
  • Ball Control
  • Reactions
  • Composure

Vision, Short Passing, and Ball Control are the top three. Creator leans more toward creating chances, Maestro leans more toward midfield control, Magician leans more toward dribbling—plan your points around your playstyle.

How do you build a CM?

CM and CAM are very different. Top priority:

  • Short Passing
  • Long Passing
  • Stamina
  • Vision
  • Reactions

Then you need to pick your follow-up point plan based on your playstyle. For example, a possession type should focus on Short Passing, Ball Control, etc.; an attacking type should go for Vision, Short Passing, etc. Different point plans depending on your role on the pitch.

How do you build a CDM?

Don't play CDM like a budget CB. It's not just about winning the ball and countering—positioning and passing matter just as much. Priority:

  • Interceptions
  • Defensive Awareness
  • Stamina
  • Short Passing
  • Reactions

If you play Recycler, keep passing and defense balanced. If you're a Disruptor, lean more into Interception / Tackle / Physical.

How do you build a CB?

You don't need to chase dribbling and agility. Defense comes first, but pace is still important—otherwise it's hard to keep up with the team's attack tempo. Priority:

  • Defensive Awareness
  • Interceptions
  • Standing Tackle
  • Strength
  • Heading Accuracy

Once you have enough pace, put the rest of your points into defensive stats as needed, instead of dumping everything into DEF.

How do you build LB / RB?

Fullbacks need way more than center backs. They have to chase wingers, defend, and join the attack, so their stat spread needs to be more balanced. Specifically:

  • Acceleration
  • Sprint Speed
  • Stamina
  • Interceptions
  • Standing Tackle

If you lean attacking, boost Crossing, Short Passing, Ball Control. If you lean stay-back defending, go for Defensive Awareness, Interceptions, etc.

How do you build a GK?

Goalkeeper has a completely separate point logic. Priority:

  • Reflexes
  • Diving
  • Handling
  • Positioning

A traditional keeper core leans more toward Shot Stopper. If your team's defensive line pushes way up and your keeper often has to come out of the box to defend, lean more toward Sweeper Keeper.
