FC 27 Pre-Season Speedrun: 60K Coins & 4x 81+ x3 Packs

Gameplay Guides
This isn't a reward list. It's the shortest path through Pre-Season — two squads, one daily cap workaround, 60 minutes of playtime.

If you already know what the Pre-Season rewards are and just want the shortest path to them, this is your route. No reward breakdowns. No "here's what each objective asks for" filler. Just the sequence, the squads, and the timing.

Version note: This covers the FC 26 Season 10 Pre-Season event, which pays out carryover rewards in FC 27. All rewards deliver on October 16, 2026 when you log into FC 27 FUT with the same EA account.

What you get by the end: 60,000 FC 27 coins, 4x untradeable 81+ x3 packs (12 guaranteed 81+ players), a tradeable 83+ 1-of-3 Player Pick, and a 99 OVR FUTTIES Del Piero for your FC 26 club.

Total playtime: 17 matches — 16 in Double Trouble plus 1 Final Whistle match. Under 60 minutes if you follow the order below.

The Route at a Glance

PhaseModeMatchesObjectives Cleared
1Double Trouble8Wilson + Macário
2Double Trouble8Otamendi + Trossard
3Final Whistle (R16)182+ Player Pick + 10K coins

Critical scheduling note: Double Trouble caps at 10 matches per day, resetting with the daily objective refresh. You cannot play all 16 in one sitting. This route is designed for two sessions — 8 matches on Day 1, 8 on Day 2. Final Whistle has no daily cap and can be slotted into either session.

Phase 1: Wilson + Macário in 8 Matches

Squad Setup — 4-4-1-1

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Starting XI requirements (overlap everything):

  • 3 NWSL players → covers Macário's league requirement
  • 2 US players → covers Macário's nationality requirement (pick NWSL Americans to stack)
  • 3 Premier League players → covers Wilson's league requirement
  • 2 English players → covers Wilson's nationality requirement (pick PL Englishmen to stack)
  • 6 first-owned players → universal requirement across all four groups

The overlap is the point. A US NWSL player counts for both the US and NWSL slots. An English Premier League player counts for both the PL and English slots.

The Objective Stack

Run all 8 matches in Double Trouble (Weekly Play mode). This mode is built around scoring in pairs — the match structure naturally produces the goal volume these objectives require.

In-match targets to hit across the 8 games:

ObjectiveRequirementHow to Force It
Wilson — goals5 goals with your STThrough-balls over the top, 1-on-1 finishes
Macário — assists5 assists with your CAMCAM as the focal point of every attack
Universal6 first-owned in starting XICheck before kickoff — it does not count from the bench
UniversalWin matchesSemi-Pro or higher difficulty

Progression check: After match 8, both Wilson and Macário's carryover rewards should be claimable. Each drops 10,000 FC 27 coins + one 81+ x3 pack. That's 20K coins and two packs banked in Phase 1.

Phase 2: Otamendi + Trossard in 8 Matches

Squad Setup — 4-3-3

Formation: 4-3-3

Starting XI requirements (overlap everything):

  • 3 Primera División (Liga Profesional) players → covers Otamendi's league requirement
  • 2 Argentine players → covers Otamendi's nationality (pick LPF Argentines to stack)
  • 3 Süper Lig players → covers Trossard's league requirement
  • 2 Belgian players → covers Trossard's nationality (pick Süper Lig Belgians to stack)
  • 6 first-owned players → same universal requirement

The Objective Stack

Same mode: Double Trouble, 8 more matches. If you've hit the daily cap from Phase 1, this phase rolls into Day 2.

ObjectiveRequirementHow to Force It
Otamendi — assists5 assists from a defenderFull-backs overlap and cross. Set pieces: CBs on near post
Trossard — goals5 goals with your LWCut inside from the left, finesse from the edge of the box
Universal6 first-owned in starting XIVerify every match
UniversalWin matchesSemi-Pro or higher

Progression check: After match 16, all four objective groups are complete. That's 40,000 FC 27 coins and 4x 81+ x3 packs from the weekly groups alone.

Phase 3: Final Whistle Cleanup + Completionist Claim

One Final Whistle Match for the 82+ Pick

Play one match in the Pre-Season: Final Whistle Tournament. You only need to reach the Round of 16 stage. A single win there unlocks the tradeable 1 of 3 82+ Player Pick and 10,000 coins.

Formation note: If you're also chasing the Final Whistle "Win 3 in 4-2-3-1" objective for extra carryover rewards, enter this match with 4-2-3-1 preselected and do not change it during the match. That way the R16 win counts toward both the tournament progression and the formation objective.

Claim the Completionist Group Reward

Once all four weekly groups show complete, the Pre-Season Completionist Group Reward unlocks automatically: 20,000 FC 27 coins + a tradeable 83+ 1-of-3 Player Pick. This is not a separate objective — it's a bundle that triggers when the four weekly groups are done.

Final tally:

SourceCoins
Wilson group10,000
Macário group10,000
Otamendi group10,000
Trossard group10,000
Completionist Group Reward20,000
Total60,000

Plus: 4x 81+ x3 packs, one tradeable 83+ Player Pick, and the 99 Del Piero for your FC 26 club.

The One Thing That Breaks This Route

First-owner count. Check it before every match. Six first-owned players must be in the starting XI when the whistle blows — bench slots do not count.

First-owned means: packed, earned from objectives, or received as a reward. If you bought the player from the transfer market, they do not qualify. This is the single most common reason players finish 16 matches and walk away with zero progress.

Quick checklist before each match:

  • 6 first-owned in the starting XI ✓
  • Correct league/nationality counts in the starting XI ✓
  • Formation unchanged from the template ✓

Closing

This route exists for players who have already seen the reward lists and just want the execution layer. Two squads. Two sessions. 17 matches. The only variables you control are the first-owner count and the Double Trouble daily cap — everything else is mechanical.

If you hit a snag with objective tracking, it's almost always the first-owner count or a formation change mid-match. Reset the squad, verify the XI, and run it again.
